Fo shizzle, schnitzel

I had just arrived at a hotel in Salzburg after a somewhat strenuous 2 hour drive, due mostly to poor visibility and wet roads, and really wanted meat. For those of you who know me well, I go absolutely nuts when I'm hungry for meat. So on a recommendation of a front desk receptionist I show up at this small Austrian restaurant with a starving look on my face. Sensing fear of being eaten alive, a waiter comes over and immediately seats me. "I'd like a schnitzel", I tell the waiter as I sat down. "Let me show you our menu. We have 12 kinds of schnitzels" Now this is the kind of situation where quantity doesn't necessarily impress me, but only confuses my calorie-deprived brain. As I scour the menu for keywords that would trigger my excitement, I come across 3, all part of the same dish: bacon, cheese and ham. "I'll have a Salzburg Schnitzel" I cheerfully exclaimed as I had just made the most important decision of the day. The schnitzel was delicious, but then again everything in Austria tastes great. From their meats to their desserts(Sachertorte is delicious) to their coffe - it's all top class.

Salzburg turned out to be a lot of fun to walk by foot. It's a gorgeous city and to illustrate it, I present the evidence:
